Panther Creek campground has 31 campsites (6 are double sites) and is located in a wood setting a short walk to Panther Creek in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Several premium sites offer creekside camping.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30 to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.
Hiking is popular here with access to the Pacific Crest Trail. Panther Cfeek Falls is also about a 4 mile hike north of the campground on Forest Road 65. Other activities include fishing, biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The Gifford Pinchot National Forest is one of the older in the US and includes 1.3 million acres of old growth forests.
