Sawmill Flat Overview

Sawmill Flat campground (WA) has 24 single-family campsites and is located along the Naches River in the Northern Cascades Range. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30 to 40 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Sawmill Flat – Area Recreation

In the summer, visitors can enjoy excellent fishing, hiking, hunting, horseback riding and mountain biking. Winter outdoor recreation includes cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The nearby American River also offers whitewater rafting and kayaking, fishing and swimming. You can also slap around in the Naches River. Wildlife viewing is also very good in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Cottonwood (Naches River), Little Naches and Cedar Springs.
