Schafer State Park Campground is located along the Satsop River and has 65 campsites, including 34 RV/utility sites with partial hookups, 27 standard sites (no hookups) and 4 walk-to sites.  There are also 2 cabins, a hike/bike campsite and group camping available.

Single family campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  Check in time is 2:30pm and check out is 1:00pm. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a nice picnic / day-use area in the park.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing.

Over on the coast you may also like Ocean City State Park or Twin Harbors State Park.
