Swift Creek Campground sits right on the edge of beautiful Baker Lake in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. There are 49 campsites for tents, trailers or RVs, as well as 2 group campsites. Twenty-four (24) of the campsites are reservable.
Swift Creek Campground is open May to mid-September and has potable/drinking water, showers, vault toilets and firewood for sale from the delightful campground host. There’s also a picnic/day-use are in the campground and a boat ramp at the lake. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate.
The campground offers a prime location for hiking, boating, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, swimming, fishing, picnicking and horseback riding. The area is also a popular for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.
Panorama Point campground is just two miles away and has 16 campsites on the western shore of Baker Lake.

Site 34 is very private. What you can’t see from the photo is that to the right of the car is a split-rail fence (due to a drop-off to the river, so this site NOT appropriate for little kids) and an absolutely STUNNING view of Mt Shuksan over the lake. It’s the view you have from sitting at the table or by the fire in the campsite. Amazing.
