Takhlakh Lake Overview

Takhlakh Lake Campground has 54 campsites (including 10 walk-to / tent only) nestled in a forested area next to Takhlakh Lake. Campsites also have spectacular views of Mt. Adams, Mt.Rainer and Mt. Saint Helens.  Six of the campsites are double-family (3, 7, 12, 16, 20 and 44) and the rest are single-family sites. The ten walk-to / tent only sites include 45 to 54.

The popular campground is generally open early July through September. Amenities include 3 vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. A day use / picnic area is also located next to the lake. Cell service is not available in the area. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur (15 to 40 feet), table, fire ring and grill.

Takhlakh Lake Campground – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Adams Fork, Horseshoe Lake, Council Lake, Olallie Lake, Killen Creek and Walupt Lake.
