Amnicon Falls State Park Overview

Amnicon Falls State Park 010

Amnicon Falls State Park has 36 campsites and is located about 1/2 mile from the Amnicon River and waterfalls. There is one ADA site (#35) and 2 walk-to sites (16 and 17) – 100 and 150 feet from parking area. Most sites have nice shade provided by tall trees.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. There are no hookups available. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. The campground also has a playground. Generators are not permitted.

Area Recreation & Activities

The main attraction here is a series of beautiful waterfalls and rapids along the Amnicon River. There’s also a historic covered foot bridge perched above one of the falls. Other activities include hiking, hunting, swimming fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Snowshoeing is also popular in the winter months.

You may also like Pattison State Park or Bois Brule Campground.
