Bois Brule Overview

Bois Brule Campground has 22 single-family campsites (no hookups) set among towering red pines and near one of the country’s premier trout streams.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 18 pull-in sites and 5 walk-to sites (1, 7, 8, 21 and 22).  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campsites can be reserved late March through mid-November. Amenities include drinking water from an artesian well and a hand pump near site #9. Restrooms with flush toilets are also available.  Showers and a dump station are available for a fee at Brule River Motel & Campground on State Highway 2.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. A day use area and canoe/kayak river access are also available.
