Audra State Park Campground is one of our favorite campgrounds and is located along the banks of the Middle Fork River in a beautiful wooded setting.  There are 67 campsites (for RVs, trailers and tents) and 13 of the sites have electric hookups with 30-amp (no full hookups available). Several are located right on the banks of the river.  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

The campground is open from April through October.  Click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability and make a reservation from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Camping is first-come, first-serve after and before Labor Day.

Campground amenities include a camp store, two restrooms (flush toilets and hot showers), laundry and dump station. Water spigots are located throughout the campground. Firewood is also available for sale.

    How long can I camp?

    • Hi Kevin, we searched around and it was not indicated on the West Virginia State Park site how long you can stay at Audra State Park. Usually it is 7 to 14 days. I recommend you call their reservation number to find out: (304) 457-1162.

  2. How much is your non-electric sites and your river sites cost per night? Also we was there a few weeks ago and drove around and noticed that half of your campground was closed off. Will it be open later this summer?

    • Hi Lisa, You’ll need to call Audra State Park/campground directly to check on availability, pricing and make a reservation. The entire campground will open up soon. For camping reservations call 304 457-1162.

    • They are around $25 per night. At least that’s what it was last summer. And the sites are first come, first serve. They do not take reservations.

Do you have full hookups? Water sewage and electric?

  4. nancy norman says:

I called to get a reservasation for a campsite as you said to do was told not taking reservations first come and you have 30 some electric sites is this true coming two hours drive to get there need electric site long drive to come and not have one and have to drive all the way back

    • Hi Nancy,
Campsitephotos.com is not associated with the campgrounds listed on our site. We provide the photos of each campsite, camping info and a link to make a reservation.
Audra State Park campground is takes reservations for arrivals from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can click HERE to check availability and make reservations. The campground is first come, first-serve April to Memorial Day and Labor Day through October.

    • Rich McGervey says:

Reservations are all online now with WV State Parks, and there are descriptions of the sites, how far they are from the bathhouse, whether they are on the river or not, and if they have electric or not, on the website when you select your campsite and then book it. This is a fairly new feature, you didn’t used to be able to book online.

  5. Nancy Ballenger says:

What amps are in the electric sites and is there a rv size limitation

  6. Angela Shuman says:

How much is it to rent the pavilon at the top of the hill.(The one with water and electric.) I would like to rent it for July 7,2019.

    • HI Angela,
CampsitePhotos.com is not associated with the campgrounds listed on our website. We provide the photos of each campsite, camping info and links to make reservations. I recommend you call Audra State Park directly to inquire about renting the pavilion: 304-457-1162

  7. Shannon Cress says:

    Are the kayaks for rent?

    • Hi Shannon,
We were unable to confirm of Audra State Park had kayak rentals, or if there was a kayak rental shop nearby. You might want to call the park directly to check at: 304-457-1162

  8. Amanda Bartlett says:

Beautiful camp sites. Well maintained. Friendly and clean. Best way to reconnect with nature. No where in the world I’d rather spend my vacation.

  9. Are the pictures of the sites accurate here? I want to book a site but the pic on the state park website is completely different and you can’t see the site number. It makes me nervous booking without knowing for sure what we are going to get. Thanks!

    • Hi Amber, Yes, our campsite photos of Audra State park are accurate and current. We shot these with a wide angle lens to get most of the campsite. The reservation site shot from a different angle and with a smaller sense (tight shots). Have a great trip – Audra State Park is one of our favorite campgrounds!

  10. David Greene says:

Are there potable water spigots available in the park that you can use to fill camper tanks?

    • Hi David,
There are potable water spigots in the campground, but not sure if filling up camper tanks is allowed. I recommend calling the park/campground to confirm: 304-457-1162

  11. Virginia says:

Can you have more than one tent per site? And what campsite numbers are beside each other?
