Battle Run Campground has 117 single-family campsites and is located along the shores of Summersville Lake in West Virginia. There are 110 campsites with electric hookups (30 amp) and 7 tent-only (primitive/walk-to) campsites. The walk from the parking area to the tent sites is about 150-200 feet.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.  Parking pads are gravel and each site allows up to 3 vehicles and 8 people.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot shower, laundry facilities and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, fishing dock, playground, basketball courts, volleyball courts and nature trails at the campground. Cell service is good in the area. Pets are not allowed at the campground.

Battle Run – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, hiking, biking, rock climbing, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Nearby Gauley River also offers whitewater rafting and kayaking.
