Alpine North Loop Overview

Alpine North Loop B 003

Alpine North Loop Campground has 30 campsites and is located next to the Palisades Reservoir in Star Valley, Wyoming about 2 miles east of Alpine. The campground has several single-family sites, double campsites and 3 group sites.

Campground amenities include potable water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Each site also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage box. Groceries and supplies are available in the town of Alpine (2 miles away). Boat ramps are located about 2 miles away in Alpine and 10 miles away near Blowout Campground. Cell service is good in the area.

Alpine North Loop – Area Recreation

The area offers a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, ATVing, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. It’s also work day-tripping on over to Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. The Snake River is also nearby and offers some great boating and fishing.
