Buffalo Bill State Park has two camping areas – North Shore (sites 1-32) and North Fork (33-88). Both camping areas are located next to Buffalo Bill Reservoir. All of the North Shore campsites are reservable and have electric & water hookups. Some of the North Fork campsites are reservable and others are first-come, first-serve. Group camping is also available.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 70 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, boat ramp, picnic area and playground. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.

The park is named after non other than Colonel William F Buffalo Bill Cody, the famous Wild West shaman, promoter and developer. Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHVing, volleyball, geocaching, and picnicking. Wildlife and wildflower viewing is also nice in the area.

Is check in time 11:00 AM as stated and Check out is 3:00 PM as stated in the overview or are these times incorrect or backwards?

The times were a mistake (flip flopped). Sorry about that and thanks for checking. We will get the times corrected to 11am check out / 3pm check in.
