Deer Park Campground is located close to West Tensleep Creek in the high country of Bighorn National Forest at an elevation of 8,900. The is a first-come, first-serve campground with 7 campsites suitable for small RVs, trailers and tents. The campground has vault toilets and drinking water. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Cell service is not available in the area.
The campground offers a great base camp for hiking, fishing, OHV, hunting, horseback riding and mountain biking. Wildlife viewing is also great in the area.
You may also be interested in Island Park campground. It is located about 30 miles to the south on Road 27. Lakeview Bighorn is also a nice campground.
