Grant Village is the 2nd largest campground in Yellowstone National park with 430 single-family campsites set among a Lodgepole pine forest on the shores of Yellowstone Lake. It is 22 miles north of the south entrance. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker. Group camping (8 sites) is also available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. There’s also a dump station, showers and laundry facilities nearby at Grant Village. You’ll also find stores, restaurants and a visitor center at the Village.
Yellowstone National Park is world famous for its amazing geology, scenery, rivers, wildlife, fishing and those amazing geysers! Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, camping, wildlife viewing, photography, backpacking, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and much more. Boat rentals and tours are also available on Yellowstone Lake. The West Thumb Geyser Basin is also a short drive from the campground.
There are also 11 other campgrounds in Yellowstone National park including: Bridge Bay, Canyon, Indian Creek, Lewis Lake, Madison, Mammoth, Norris, Pebble Creek, Slough Creek, Tower Fall, and Fishing Bridge RV Park.
