Guernsey State Park is located in eastern Wyoming and has about 245 campsites in 7 campgrounds. Most are situated next to or near the reservoir. Some campsites are reservable from May 1 through September 30.
There are 32 campsites with water & electric hookups at Sandy Beach and Sandy Point camping areas. Yurts are also available at some locations. Lower Spotted Tail and Skyline campsites are first-come first-serve.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include water, flush and vault toilets, showers and a dump station (at park entrance). Cell services is fair to poor depending on location.
The Park offers a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, waters sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There are also playgrounds, a museum and picnic/day use areas.
