Lewis Lake Campground in Yellowstone National Park has 85 single-family campsites on the southeast shore of Lewis Lake. It is about 8 miles north of the south entrance. The campground is located on a tree-covered hill with most campsites being fairly small with only a few pull-through sites.
The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 25 feet. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, rate and food storage locker. Campground amenities include vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.
Yellowstone National Park is world famous for its amazing geology, scenery, rivers, wildlife, fishing and those amazing geysers! Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, camping, wildlife viewing, photography, backpacking, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and much more. A boat ramp is also available at the lake.
There are also 11 other campgrounds in Yellowstone National park including: Bridge Bay, Canyon, Grant Village, Indian Creek, Madison, Mammoth, Norris, Pebble Creek, Slough Creek, Tower Fall, and Fishing Bridge RV Park.
