Lizard Creek Campground is located in a remote area of Grand Teton National Park along the shores of Jackson Lake. There are 60 first-come, first-serve campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers (up to 20 feet) and RVs (up to 30 feet). No hookups are available. The campground is usually open from mid June to early September.
Campground amenities include potable water (seasonal) and flush toilets. Cell phone reception is good in the area. Each campsite also has a table, bear-proof food storage locker, fire ring and grate.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes backpacking, hiking, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Photographers will also love the views of Jackson Lake and Teton Range.
