Medicine Lodge Lake Overview
Medicine Lodge Lake campground has 13 (first-come, first-serve) campsites and is located on the shores overlooking Upper Medicine Lodge Lake in the Bighorn National Forest. All campsites are relatively large and can accommodate RVs, trailers and tents. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground has drinking water and vault toilets. There is no dump station.
Area Recreation
At an elevation of 9,300 feet the season is short, but offers a variety of outdoor recreation including fishing, hiking, OHVing, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking and hunting. Wildlife is also abundant in the area.
You may also be interested in Deer Park or Island Park campgrounds to the south. East Fork and Ranger Creek campgrounds are also a bit north.
