North Fork Little Laramie River campground is right along the banks of the North Fork of the Little Laramie River in Medicine Bow National Forest. There are 60 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 45 feet). Most campsites are right along the riverbank and each has a table, fire ring and grate.
Campground amenities include vault toilets, but no potable water. Cell service is not available in the area.
At an elevation of 8,600 feet, the campground sits in a nice forest of lodgepole pine and spruce. Outdoor recreation includes backpacking, hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, off-road vehicle riding, fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing.
If you have more time, you may want to check out Curt Howdy State Park. It’s located about 56 miles east via highway 130. Other campgrounds in the area include Lake Owen, Nash Fork, Sugarloaf, Libby Creek Willow, Brooklyn Lake and Silver Lake.
