Silver Lake (WY) Overview

Silver Lake (WY) Campground has 17 single-family campsites and is the highest elevation campground at 10,500 feet in the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District. The campground is also beside the Snow Range Scenic Byway next to Silver Lake.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 32 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection.  Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Rob Roy, French Creek, Pelton Creek, Six Mile, North Fork Laramie River and Brooklyn Lake.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
