Slough Creek Campground has 16 campsites and is located in the Lamar Valley near some of the best areas for watching wildlife. The campground is usually open mid June to mid October and all sites are reservable. Campsites are scattered among the trees, in an open meadow or along the banks of the creek.

Sites camp accommodate tents, trailers and small RVs (up to 30 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available in the area.

Slough Creek – Yellowstone National Park Area Recreation

Yellowstone National Park is world famous for its amazing geology, scenery, rivers, wildlife, fishing and those amazing geysers!  Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, camping, wildlife viewing, photography, backpacking, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and much more. Fly fishing is also very popular in the area.

There are also 11 other campgrounds in Yellowstone National park including: Bridge Bay, Canyon, Grant Village, Indian Creek, Lewis Lake, Madison, Mammoth, Norris, Pebble Creek, Tower Fall, and also Fishing Bridge RV Park.
