Tie Flume Campground has 27 spacious campsites and is located along the South Tongue River and just off the Bighorn Scenic Byway in the Bighorn National Forest. The campground sits at 8,400 feet along the banks of the South Tongue River and is a popular area for hiking, fishing, auto touring and exploring a number of historic sites.  A nice forest of lodgepole pine provides good shade to the campsites.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets.  It does not have RV hookups. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Tie Flume – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, OHVing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
