Indian Creek campground has 70 primitive single-family campsites set among a lodgepole pine forest about 8 mils south of Mammoth Hot Springs. It is also located within walking distance of the Gardner River and other creeks.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker. Campground amenities include vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection. There are no hookups or generator use permitted in the campground. Cell service is poor in the area.
Yellowstone National Park is world famous for its amazing geology, scenery, rivers, wildlife, fishing and those amazing geysers! Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, camping, wildlife viewing, photography, backpacking, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and much more. Boat rentals and tours are also available on Yellowstone Lake.
There are also 11 other campgrounds in Yellowstone National park including: Bridge Bay, Canyon, Grant Village, Lewis Lake, Madison, Mammoth, Norris, Pebble Creek, Slough Creek, Tower Fall, and Fishing Bridge RV Park.
