Grand Teton National Park Overview

Grand Teton National Park includes over 310,000 acres of spectacular scenery and outdoor adventure in northwestern Wyoming. The park includes the peaks of the Teton Range, as well as the northern valley area and Jackson Hole. It is also just 10 miles south of Yellowstone National Park.

Grand Teton National Park – Area Recreation

Popular outdoor recreation includes backpacking, hiking, boating, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, mountaineering, hiking, mountain biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also incredible with opportunities to see bear, deer, elk, moose, fox, a variety of birds and other forest creatures.

Camping

There are 6 developed campgrounds in the park including Colter Bay, Colter Bay RV ParkGros Ventre, Headwaters (Flagg Ranch), Jenny Lake, Lizard Creek and Signal Mountain.
