Plumas National Forest Comments & Reviews
Visited Plumas National Forest Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Plumas National Forest?
We just returned from a week of camping up at Hallsted Campground.
Had lovely time which was in a good part attributable to Brent & Kirsten, the camp hosts. They are delightful !
When we first arrived someone had defecated all over one of the bathroom stalls, including up the walls !!!
Brent & Kirsten were ‘brave’ enough to go in and scrub the entire bathroom until spotlessly clean & maintained it that way during our stay. They are both friendly, very helpful and fun to chat with.
I marked this campground down a notch as the garbage bins desperately needed emptying since they were overflowing with trash and thus, a bear hazard. The camp hosts were above and beyond !
Hi Mia,
Thanks so much for the review of Plumas National Forest and glad you had a great time!
