Willamette National Forest Overview

The Willamette National Forest encompasses 8 wilderness areas (over 1.6 million acres) including the popular Three Sisters Wilderness and Mt. Jefferson Wilderness. It located in the central portion of the Cascade Range of the U.S. state of Oregon.  Over 380,000 acres are designated wilderness which include seven major mountain peaks.

Outdoor Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes camping, boating, fishing, whitewater rafting/kayaking, backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, water sports, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
