Flagstaff KOA Overview
Flagstaff KOA offers a rustic and well maintained mountain campground located at 7000 feet at the base of the San Francisco Peaks.
The KOA has tent, trailer and RV sites (with 50-amp electric), as well as teepee’s and one room cabins. Amenities include free WiFi, cable TV, a business center, two laundry facilities, clean restrooms and showers, on-site groceries and souvenirs, banana bike rentals and more
The Flagstaff KOA is also a “Green” campground with full on-site recycling , water reclaiming for landscaping, wind turbines, and our new “Environmental Impact Educational Park”.
Area Recreation & Activities
From Memorial Day to Labor Day the park has free barrel train rides for the kids (weather permitting). You can also enjoy free family movie nights, open recreation in the “korral” with billiards and foosball. There’s also a snack bar and a kamp kitchen making breakfast every morning.
Attractions in the Area
The Flagstaff Aquaplex Indoor Water park is just 2 miles away. Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon are about 30 miles. The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is 90 minutes. Other attractions include Lake Powell (2 hours), Meteor Crater (30 minutes) and various Native American Ruins.
Other campgrounds in the area include Fort Tuthill County Park, Canyon Vista, Lakeview – Lake Mary and Pine Grove – Lake Mary.
