Camp Kernville Overview

Camp Kernville is located on the Upper Kern River and has 47 spacious campsites (38 with full hookups) and several mobile home sites.  Most campsites have nice shade and a few are right on the river’s edge. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include a camp store, ice, WiFi, drinking water, flush toilets and showers. There’s also a beach, horseshoe area and pet area. RV rentals sites are also available.

Camp Kernville – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes kayaking, tubing, rafting, fishing, biking, hiking, water sports, wildlife viewing and a whole lot more!  Our campground also has modern restrooms, hot showers, a laundry, free WiFi, a dump station, an air compressor station and ice!

You may also be interested in Headquarters and Camp Three campgrounds. Both are located a few miles up river.
