Ocean Cove Campground Overview

Ocean Cove Campground has over 100 campsites set on a scenic bluff overlooking a sheltered cove on Northern California’s spectacular coast. All single family campsites are first-come first-serve. Many campsites have amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and coastline. Group camping is also available and can be reserved.

The 20-acre campground is generally open early April to late November. Amenities include a camp store, drinking water, restrooms, hot-water showers, vault toilets and trash collection. A boat ramp is also available down in the cove.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 45 feet). Single-family campsites are first-come, first-serve and the group sites are reservable. Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, kayaking, beach combing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Stillwater Cove Regional Park and Fort Ross State Historic Park.
