Durango KOA Campground (Colorado)

Durango KOA Overview

Durango KOA is located in southwest Colorado surrounded by amazing mountains, lakes and rivers.  The campground is nestled in juniper and piñon pines close to many adventures.  We have approximately 100 camping units including 45 full hookups, 21 with water & electric, 16 tent only sites some with electric hookups. Plus there are 29 cabins, from basic sleeping cabins to glamping cabins with kitchen, bath, deck, and gas grills for luxury camping.

Durango KOA –  Area Recreation

Durango KOA is close to many of Durango’s spectacular offerings.  We are just 7 miles from historic downtown Durango and the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad station, and about an hour from Mesa Verde National Park.  There’s river rafting, tubing, hiking, fishing, the longest zip line in the US, museums, festivals, rodeos, cowboy poetry, county fair, concerts, 150 restaurants, and much more!

Durango KOA – Amenities

Swimming pool, duck races, poly pong, breakfast at the Caboose Cafe, baked on site pie and ice cream dessert bar, pizza freshly baked and delivered to your site, free nightly movies, all available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  And we offer 2 dog parks for VIPs (Very Important Pets), 2 laundry facilities, 2 bath houses, store, pavilion, playground, mini golf, mining sluice, wifi, and lots of smiles.
