Nelson’s Outdoor Resort Overview

Nelson’s Outdoor Resort is located right along the banks of the Ocklawaha River (on State Route 42) in Central Florida. The resort has been a popular camping and fishing destination since the 1950s.

Campsites can accommodate trailers and RVs. Full hookups and water & electric hookups are available.  Permanent model home sites are also available to rent.

Amenities include drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets and hot-water showers, laundry facilities, propane refill, trash collection, boat trailer parking, a BBQ grill/picnic area, horseshoes and cornhole.

Nelson’s offers a full-service marina with a variety of boat slips to accommodate boats during your camping stay. Two boat ramps also offer easy access to the Ocklawaha River.
