Turtle Beach Campground offers premier beachfront camping on Siesta Key in Sarasota County (Gulf of Mexico). There are 39 full hookup RV sites and several other tent sites available. The campground is open year-round and is one of the few in Florida with direct beach access.

The full hookup RV sites have water, 20/30/50 amp electric, sewer, cable TV and free WiFi).  All sites are back-in and have crushed shell parking spurs. They can accommodate trailers up to 36 feet and RVs up to 38 feet. You can also have up to 2 vehicles and 6 campers per site. Pets are not allowed (except service animals). Campfire are also not permitted.

Campground amenities include drinking water, a kayak launch, free WiFi, restrooms with hot-water showers, laundry facilities, a playground, picnic area and free trolley service to Siesta Beach and village. The campground also has a camp host. Overflow parking is available. Cell service is good. Generators are also okay from 7am to 11pm.

Turtle Beach – Area Recreation & Activities

Sea turtle season is May 1 – Oct. 31. Experience the unique opportunity to see loggerhead and green turtle nests on the shores of Turtle Beach. Other activities include swimming, snorkeling, beach combing, sunbathing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  You can also visit Siesta Village for shopping, restaurants, recreational rentals and more.

You might also like Oscar Scherer State Park or Myakka River State Park.
