Higgins Lake Roscommon KOA Overview

Located just one mile from fabulous Higgins Lake and nestled in a quiet forest setting where nature trails and outdoor recreation abound, come visit our escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Have breakfast from the Grill (weekends and holidays in Season), maybe Pizza for lunch or supper.   Our “Create Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Bar” is great before the evening free movie on our large outdoor screen. Join us for scheduled crafts…hikes…ride our Banana and Safari bikes. Sluice for fossils or gems!  We’ve added a large inflatable slide…try it dry in the mornings and wet in the afternoons!

Only a 5 minute drive away (little longer for walking!) will take you to great swimming,  picnicking,  relaxing on Higgins Lake (chosen by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world).  Water sports on Higgins Lake or Houghton Lake, or canoeing, kayaking, tubing on the famous AuSable River offer a fun-filled day!
