Tom’s Cove Park Overview
Tom’s Cove Park is a family RV campground located on Chincoteague Island (Virginia) and has over 350 campsites available. It overlooks Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague Island national Seashore Park. Seasonal camping is open March 1 to November 30, but there are also annual (year round) campsites available.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Most campsites have trees that provide nice shade. Partial and full hookup campsites are available. There’s also tent camping (no hookups).
Amenities include water, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities and a dump station. Cable TV ($) is also available. The park also has a boat ramp, marina, fishing pier, clubhouse, swimming pool and a large country store.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, fishing, crabbing, beachcombing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Yes – Tom’s Cove Park does have a lot of trees throughout the campground. Most campsites have trees, but a few sites are more open.
