Wagon Trail Campground Overview
Wagon Trail Campground is the northern most (private) campground on Wisconsin’s beautiful Door County Peninsula. It is also near Rowleys Bay (Lake Michigan) and the Mink River.
The campground has a variety of campsites including full hookups, water & electric, yurts, tents and cabin rentals. Travel trailer rentals area also available. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a game room, playground, sports field/court and fish cleaning station.
Area Recreation & Activities
Several trails link the campground with Rowleys Bay Resort, the Mink River Nature Conservancy, and to Sand Bay Town Park. Wagon Trail Campground is approximately 1/3 mile to the Rowleys Bay Marina.
Activities in the area include boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve stayed at in our 30+ years of camping with and without our kids. Friendly, private sites, very wooded, fun things around, great playground for kids, camp shop is fun, and for us the most important thing is – quiet at night!!
