  1. Rebecca Christopher Miller says:

This is a basic, few frills, campground. Basic = older, small playground, non paved road and pads, small camp store/office, no pool, cinderblock bath house structure which had new paint and was clean, nice grassy fields next to playground. But it is quiet, inexpensive ($30-33 per night) and right on the river. THe creek at the far end is a stocked trout stream. There is a covered bridge over the creek, but this is not the driveway in, so you won’t cross it with camper. Reservations are not required most of the season, but we call ahead anyway. It was easy to find, right off the highway, and had conveniences close by. There is a group camping section for clubs, there is a section which is seasonals too. There were maybe 10 other campers there besides us in August. All were nice and not loud or rammy. During weeks when the Bloomsburg fair has something going on, it is very crowded and busy and can be quite loud too, so you MUST make reservations ahead of time. We used this as a cheap alternative to staying at a hotel uring a family reunion in Bloomsburg.
