Amity Campground West Point Lake Alabama

Amity Overview

Amity Campground has 96 campsites (93 with water & electric hookups) and is located on the western shore of West Point Lake. You can have up to 4 vehicles per site. Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 3pm. Gates to the campground are locked from 10pm to 7am.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (38 to 55 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, laundry facilities and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, hiking/biking trails, playground, picnic areas and a tennis court. Cell service is good. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host.

Area Recreation & Activities

West Point Lake extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama-Georgia state line. Outdoor recreation in includes fishing, boating, swimming, sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water skiing, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

You may also like Holiday Campground or R Shaefer Heard Campground (both next to West Point Lake).
