Lake Poinsett State Park Overview

Lake Poinsett State Park has 29 spacious campsites set in a forested area overlooking the lake in northeastern Arkansas. There 26 campsites with water & electric hookups and 3 tent sites.

the campground is open year-round. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, bathhouse/showers (open during summer months), trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a marina, rental fishing boats and kayaks, boat ramp, boat trailer lot, picnic area, playground and visitor center.  Campsites also have a table, fire ring and grill.

Outdoor recreation n the area includes boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
