Springhill Park Campground has 45 campsites and is located along the shores of John Paul Hammerschmidt Lake in the lush, rolling hills of Arksansas. The park/campground is open year round. Reservations are accepted from early June to early December.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Parking spurs range from 23 to 60 feet and are paved. There are 20 sites with water & electric hookups, 16 sites with just water hookups and the others without hookups. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, boat ramps and picnic areas at the park. Cell service is good.

Other campgrounds in the area include Clear Creek, Aux Arc, Cove Lake and White Rock. If headed east, you might also like Lake Dardanelle State Park or Petit Jean State Park. And you might also like Lake Wister State Park over in Oklahoma.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, water sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.

    Great campground! Quiet, clean restrooms with showers, nice hosts. Close enough to town in case you need supplies.
