Canyon Lake Campground has 45 campsites along the shoreline of the lake is located in a beautiful high-desert area about an hour drive from Phoenix, AZ. There are 36 campsites with water & electric hookups and 9 tent only campsites. All have great views of the water and are only steps to the lake.

Campground amenities include water, flush toilets and showers. There isn’t a dump station, but you can pay for a pump out. There’s also a full-service marina (fuel, slip rentals, boat launch, boat rentals, bait & tackle), restaurant, large and grass/picnic area.  The RV sites can have one additional vehicle besides the RV. Tent sites can have only one vehicle. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Canyon Lake – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, SUP, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also take a ride on the Dolly Steamboat and cruise around the lake.

Tortilla Campground is also nearby (although not next to the lake). And you may also like Lost Dutchman State Park.
