Yavapai Campground Arizona
Yavapai Overview
Yavapai Campground has 21 campsites and is located within the Granite Basin Recreation Area about 7 miles northwest from Prescott, AZ. Granite Basin Lake is also just 2 miles away. Campsites are reservable from April 1 through October 31. Sites are first-come, first-serve Nov 1 through March 21. Campsites 4, 16 and 21 are walk-in only (cannot be reserved). Campsite #9 has 50-amp electric hookups.
Campground amenities include drinking water (faucets), vault toilets and trash recycling. There is no dump station at the campground. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
