Ahart Overview
Ahart Campground has 12 campsites and is along the banks of the Middle Fork of the American River and near the north shore of French Meadows Reservoir. Some campsites are riverfront.
Campsites are best for tent camping, but can accommodate (high-clearance/4wd) camper vans and small RVs. Each site has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking vault toilets. Potable (drinking) water is not available unless you want to filter water from the river. Cell service is not available.
