There are no horse/equestrian campsites/camping at Folsom Lake Recreation Area. There are equestrian trails for horseback riding, but no horse camping. Sorry about that.

  7. Hi, We’re thinking of arriving in Our 30″ RV in June.
    Do we need a reservation?
What is the daily rate for full hook-up?
Do you have a campground map you can send us?

    • Hi Richard,
Reservations are recommended for Beals Point for June camping. You can click HERE to visit the Beals Point campground page. Click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing and make reservations. Reservations are accepted on a 6-month rolling window. For example, if you want to arrive on June 28, the first day you can make a reservation is on December 28 (8AM PST). A link to Beals Point campground map can also be found on the campground page. Scroll down and look to the right for the ‘Campground Map’ link.

  8. Mckenzie Boring says:

Can we add photos of a campsite? Peninsula campgrounds at FSRA isn’t featured on this site and I want to add pictures of my site. Thanks

    • Hi Mckenzie,
Generally we use ‘in-house’ photographers to maintain consistency, quality and accuracy. However, we do accept photos from camper/photo enthusiasts from time to time. The photos will need to be in a horizontal format and named with the correct campsite number. You can email us a few at campranger@campsitephotos.com. We will check them out and post if okay! Thank you!!
