Big Pine Flat Campground San Bernardino National Forest California
Big Pine Flat Overview
Big Pine Flat campground has 19 really sweet campsites in a secluded and remote area of the San Bernardino National Forest. The campsites work for tents, trailers and small RVs. All are among a beautiful forest of large pine trees. The campground is open year round, but access (dirt roads) may be limited in the winter.
Big Pine Flat Campground is first-come, first-serve, has drinking water and vault toilets. Fires are not allowed in the campground, but you can bring your pet! Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
This area is popular for ATV/OHV riding, mountain biking riding, hiking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. Big Bear Lake is located about 5 miles away where you can enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing and other water sports.
Serrano Campground is another option in the area. And Serrano also has showers!
