Big Silver Group Overview

Big Silver Group Campground has 10 group campsites and can accommodate up to 50 people. It is located next to Big Silver Creek and near Union Valley Reservoir.

The campground is generally open early June through mid-September. Check in time is 2pm and checkout time is 1pm.

The group site can accommodate up to 50 people and has 10 camping areas with 7 having parking spurs. Three are best for tents (spurs range from 30 to 35 feet), and 4 are more suitable for tents, trailers or RVs (spur length 35 to 50 feet).  There is also a central group area with 7 tables, 1 serving table, 2 group pedestal grills and 1 group fire ring. Vault toilets, a dumpster and recycle bin are also available.  Water is not available. Showers are available at Fashoda campground and a dump station is at Sunset campground.  Cell service is fair. The nearest boat ramps are at Sunset and Yellowjacket campgrounds.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Wench Creek and Wolf Creek campgrounds are also nearby.
