Hidden Horse Equestrian Overview

Hidden Horse Equestrian Campground has 6 campsites near the East Fork South Fork Salmon River at the southern edge of the Klamath National Forest. One site is reservable and the others are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). One horse trailer allowed per site. Each site also has a table, fire ring, grill and four 12×12 corral stalls. Watering troughs are not available (so bring your own buckets). Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water and vault toilets.

Other campgrounds in the area include Scott Mountain, Trail Creek, East Fork and Matthews Creek.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes horseback riding, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
