Hollister Hills SVRA Overview

Hollister Hills SVRA has several camping areas including Lower Ranch (5 Campgrounds), Upper Ranch (2 CAmpgrounds) and Hudner Ranch Primitive Camping. Most campsites are first-come first-serve. Reservable camping areas include 2 remote campsites in Hudner Ranch 4×4 Area, and the ADA campsites in Lower Ranch. Walnut Camp will be added to reservation system in near future.

Lower Ranch campgrounds (motorcycle and ATV recreation only) has tent and RV camping, flush toilets, water, showers and fire pits.  Upper Ranch – Sycamore Canyon Campground has tent/RV camping, showers, flush toilets, water and fire pits. Obstacle Course Campground has tent/rv camping, water and flush toilets.  Hudner Ranch Primitive Campground is for tent camping only and has food storage lockes, vault toilets and fire pits. Water is not available.

Hollister Hills State Vehicle Recreation Area (SVRA) is California State Parks’ first SVRA. Located in the Gabilan Mountains, just an hour’s drive south of San Jose, this unique park features over 6,800 acres and nearly 200 miles of trails in scenic and varied terrain.

Pinnacles National Park is also nearby.
