Intake 2 Overview

Lower Intake 2 003

Intake 2 Campground has 16 campsites and is located next to the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek just above Intake Two lake. It’s a dandy spot to do some fishing and hiking. All campsites are first-come, first-serve.

Upper Intake 2 has 11 campsites suitable for small vehicles near the creek. Lower Intake 2 also has 5 walk-to campsites located on the west shore of the lake. Campsites do not have hookups.

The campground is generally open late May to mid-September. Amenities include potable drinking water, trash collection and flush toilets. There is also a day-use / picnic area next to the lake. Each campsite has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Cell service is not available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include: Bishop Park Group, Bishop Park, Four Jeffrey, Forks and Big Trees.
