Mahogany Flat Campground Death Valley National Park California

Mahogany Flat Overview

Mahogany Flat Campground has 10 single-family campsites and is located at 8,200 feet in Death Valley National Park. All sites are first-come, first-serve. The campground also has great views down into Death Valley. High-clearance (4×4) vehicles required. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Vault toilets are available. No water.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes OHVing, mountain biking, hiking, stargazing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The campground is also located near the Telescope Peak trailhead.

Other campgrounds in the area include Wildrose and Thorndike.
