Pardoes Point Overview

Pardoes Point Campground Day Use Area

Pardoes Point Campground has 10 campsites and is located next to Lower Bear River Reservoir in the El Dorado National Forest. All campsites are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Campsite #10 is a double-family unit and site #9 is ADA. Sites 6, 8 and 9 have a short walk-to from parking area to camping area. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water (faucet), vault toilets, overflow parking and trash collection. A picnic area, boat ramp and boat trailer parking lot are also next to the campground. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include South Shore, Bear River Group and Sugar Pine Point. You might also like Middle Fork Cosumnes Campground.

Pardoes Point Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating (no motors), fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Bear River Lake Resort is also nearby (about 1 mile) and has a store, restaurant, boat launch, boat rentals, dump station and showers.
