Gold Bluffs Beach Campground has 26 single-family campsites adjacent to Gold Bluffs beach in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Most sites have great views of the ocean. Trailers are not allowed and the maximum vehicle length is 24 feet. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. Gold Bluffs Beach Campground has drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a visitor center. Firewood is also available for sale.

Elk Prairie is another campground at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park and it has 76 campsites. You may also like Sue-Meg State Park.

Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park – Gold Bluffs Beach – Area Recreation

Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park was established in the early 1920s as a sanctuary of old growth coastal Redwood. The Park offers great opportunities to hike and explore the ancient Redwood forest and 10 miles of sandy coastline. In addition, there is a visitor center, nature store and campground at the Park. There is also an abundance of wildlife throughout the park including bear, elk, deer, coyote, mountain lion, bobcat and over 260 species of birds. The Park is designated as a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Preserve.
